Master
of Science in Psychology Specialization: Marriage and
Family Therapy
(60 semester hours)
Offered through the traditional program in San Antonio
and the Weekend College Program in Houston, the Marriage
and Family Therapy specialization prepares practitioners
to deal with problems in the marital and family context,
as well as larger social issues. The program meets the
academic requirements for licensure as a Marriage and
Family Therapist through the Texas State Board of Examiners
of Marriage and Family Therapists, licensure as a Professional
Counselor through the Texas State Board of Examiners
of Professional Counselors, and licensure as a Psychological
Associate by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
