Research
Interests:
- Assessment
of culturally and linguistically diverse populations
and the determination of the most effective assessment
strategies and instruments. Currently, research is
focused upon the establishment of an appropriate psychological
profile for adolescents that are serving time in a
county juvenile facility. Cultural issues in the profiles
are being explored.
- Determination
of effective psycho-educational assessment when basic
interpersonal communication skills (BICS) and cognitive
academic language proficiency skills (CALP) are taken
into consideration.
