Degree Requirements

 

The criminal justice major is comprised of 39 hours of course work. The major requires students to complete 27 hours of core courses plus 12 hours of electives. A 120 hour practicum is required of students as part of the core. The faculty practicum advisor and the student determine the selection of the practicum site.

 

Criminal justice majors must also complete an 18 hour minor in another social behavioral science or other discipline approved by their faculty advisor.
