by the Commission on Applied and Clinical Sociology (CACS)
When the undergraduate
program received accreditation in 1999, it became the second
program in the United States to be accredited and the only
one in Texas or the Southwest.
Graduates from the program are eligible to have their names
entered in a national registry of students who have received
degrees from CACS accredited undergraduate programs.
